Program Directors Workshop

Primary Objectives

  • To review educational and administrative expectations for thoracic surgery residency Program Directors, Associate Program Directors, and Faculty
  • To present an overview of the accreditation process
  • To help Program Directors and Faculty prepare for upcoming accreditation site visit


Who Should Attend

  • Program Directors (especially program directors who have been in their positions for less than five years
  • Current Program Directors seeking a review of the accreditation process
  • Associate Program Directors
  • Faculty in training for educational leadership positions
  • Program Directors and Faculty planning for an upcoming accreditation site visit
  • All TSDA members who wish to learn more about the accreditation process

 

Fee

  • The fee is $100 per program for Program Director and one additional surgeon (either Associate Program Director or Faculty). Participants may also register one Program Coordinator at no additional charge, but Program Coordinators may not participate without a physician faculty member in attendance. Registration required.
