Clinical Skills:
During the training program the resident:
- Performs central venous line insertions by appropriate techniques (e.g., internal
jugular vein, subclavian vein, femoral vein);
- Performs arterial line insertions by appropriate techniques (e.g., radial,
brachial, femoral and pedal arteries);
- Manages complications of central venous and arterial lines.
