Clinical Skills:
During the training program the resident:
- Performs transvenous and epicardial pacemaker insertion using single and dual
chamber pacemakers;
- Manages complications of pacemakers (e.g., infections, programming problems,
lead fractures);
- Implants diaphragmatic pacemakers.
