A. Bronchoscopy

Unit Objective:

At the end of this unit the resident understands the indications, patient preparation, and techniques of rigid and/or fiberoptic bronchoscopy, and performs these procedures under local, regional, or general anesthesia.

Learner Objectives:

Upon completion of this unit the resident:

1. Understands the indications, techniques, and complications of rigid and fiberoptic bronchoscopy of the larynx and tracheobronchial tree.
