A. Anatomy, Physiology and Embryology
Clinical Skills:
During the training program the resident:
- Reads and interprets mediastinal plain radiographs, CT scans, MRI, and contrast
studies;
- Applies knowledge of mediastinal anatomy and physiology to the diagnosis of
mediastinal abnormalities;
- Applies knowledge of pericardial physiology to the diagnosis of pericardial
abnormalities.
