This is an operative photograph showing the aortic valve and the massive false channel of this aneurysm. This patient received a composite graft containing a 31 mm bileaflet valve. Surprisingly, her distal ascending aorta and aortic arch were of normal diameter and only the aortic root had to be replaced. It is our current preference to routinely use the modified Bentall composite graft technique with coronary buttons.
